He is survived by: his stepchildren, Xander and Brianna Peabody; his wife Erin Larsen Whitney (Larsen); his son George Whitney III (Georgie); his father George Whitney Sr.; his stepmother Virgina Whitney; and his siblings, David Whitney, Mark Whitney, Kenny Whitney, Tauni Whitney, Elaine Riddle, Dainen Chamberlain and Sandy Kreps.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Russon Mortuary (295 N Main St, Bountiful, UT 84010). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at 17800 1700 W, Bluffdale, UT 84065.
