She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Stockfish and Laura Garcia Stockfish; her brothers, Terry, Danny and Joe Stockfish; her former husband Harry McCarthy; her son Jay McCarthy; her stepsons, Stanley and Steven Kent; and her great grandchild April Victoria Kent.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Stanley Kent; her daughter Michelle; her daughter-in-law Tiffany Merrill; her sister Jane Wilsey; her sister-in-law Andrea Stockfish; her brother David (Colleen Stockfish); and her stepchildren, Sandra (James Gentry), Robert Kent (Marilyn), Jennie (Gaylen Smith) and SaraJane (Raymond Slack). She is also survived by 31 grandchildren, and 62 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She also made thousands of beanie hats, many of which were donated to Primary Children's Hospital, and crocheted many afghans to donate to the women's shelters.
