He was predeceased by: his parents, Alden Heap and Grace Heap; his wife Maradene Besendorfer; his sister Barbara Heap; and his daughter Jillynn Heap Stapley.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Cary Heap and Janell Cobbley; his siblings, Launa Herrmann and David Heap; and his grandchildren, Wesley, Shane, Carson, Jacob, Bennett and Parker. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
