He was predeceased by: his parents, David O. Dearden and Ruby Frances Owen Dearden; his brothers, Melvin O. Dearden and Val J. Dearden (Marlene); and his great grandchild Teddy Rae Kelson.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Brown; his children, Cheryl Combe (Clint), Kendra Dunford (Mark), Duane Dearden and Lance Dearden (Lori); and his sister-in-law Marion Dearden. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Bountiful 23rd Ward Chapel (650 E 1400 N, Bountiful, UT 84010).
