She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Russell and Lorenzo Dee Hathaway; her husband George; and her sister Cheryl Jenkins. She is survived by: her daughter Natasha; and her siblings, Denton Hathaway (Pam), Wendell Hathaway (Kathy), Neil Hathaway (Shirley), Sheldon Hathaway (Connie McGeehen), Tillman Hathaway (Sue), Diana Harmes (Keith), Karla Wilson (Bart) and Kirtrine Burk (Brent).
