Joni Alm wrote a sympathy message

“I first met Sheila in elementary school, and we remained friends all the way through high school. I remember my mom teaching her to drive in the church parking lot across the street. After losing touch for a few years, we were able to reconnect. She was one of the most beautiful spirits I've ever known. I'll miss you my sweet friend.”

Shelley Pereboom wrote a sympathy message

“Sheila and I were very close friends at Westminster College. She was as sweet as she was creative and fun! The dirty-rug room, the stomps, the pinochle games in the student union, all incredible memories. She also stayed connected to many of us throughout the years. Sheila made an impact wherever she went, and was never embarrassed to be fun, loud, and creative. Sheila will be missed. My love and condolences to Lee and the family. A beautiful person.”
