He was predeceased by: his parents, Calisto Mariani and Elide Sargentini Mariani; his wife Sumalee Mariani; his brothers, Luigi Mariani and Natale Mariani; and his daughter-in-law Cynthia Mariani.
He is survived by: his children, Donna Gale Hopewell (Heather), Sherry Lam (Xia), John Paul Mariani (Shannon) and Joseph Agabito Mariani. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
