He was predeceased by: his father Clyde Ottinger Mitchell; and his stepson Jason Kelly Smith. He is survived by: his mother Neva Rae Mitchell; his wife Lisa Anne Mitchell; his stepchildren, Mellissa Phillips (Eric) and Derrick Nielson; his former wife Sue Mitchell; his children, Dallas Mitchell (Saranne) and Misty Mitchell; and his siblings, Blair Mitchell (Karin), Nancy Davis, Mike Mitchell (JoAnn) and Gordon Mitchell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
