She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Tietjan and Rebecca Tietjan; her husband Jack; her brother Vernon "Nez" Tietjen; her son Rod Powell; and her grandson Chace Powell.
She is survived by: her children, C. Al Powell (Janus), Marx Powell (Mary), Wayne Henderson (Larra) and Jackie Gruette (Gene); her sisters, Leonora Wilhelm, Aileen Hudson (Ernie) and Kathern Cranford; and her sister-in-law Bonnie Teitjen. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
