He was predeceased by: his parents, Hyrum Ray and Bessie Ilene Burris Hardman; his son-in-law Don Erickson; his grandsons, Eric Hardman, Kevin Olsen and Cody Olsen; his great grandchildren, Makayla Hardman and Haven Romero; his siblings, Hyrum Ray Hardman (Althea), Jay Hardman, Lester Hardman, Royal Hardman, Cecil Hardman, Melvin Hardman and Eva Gordon; and his siblings-in-law, Wanda Hardman Rice, Fran Hardman, Kay Hardman and Gene Bristol.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Hardman; his children, Nelda Erickson, Arnold "Arnie" Hardman (Johna), Tony Lee Hardman (Vickie) and Steve Hardman (Leigh Ann); and his siblings, Fred Hardman (Clara), Nola Bristol, Nora Rhodes (Don Pepper) and Alton Hardman (Ev). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren.
