He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Henry and Sephronia Connell Jenkins; his wife Fontella Murray; and his siblings, Henry, Herbert, Joe, Glenn Jenkins, Ruby Buckalew, Marie Hamaker and Elaine Kappen.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Jenkins (Paula), Sherri Giles (Ron) and Bruce Jenkins (Toni); and his sister Hazel King. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
