It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Heavy Sursa of Bluebell, Utah, born in Borger, Texas, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Franklin and Dorothy Christine Stroud Sursa. He is survived by: his wife Patsy McKowen of Bluebell; his children, Sammi Fillingim (Matt), Brandi Murray (Cleveland) and Cedarview; his stepchildren, Ryan Christensen (Jessica), Cori (Josh), Derek Christensen and Roosevelt; his brothers, Frank and Ronnie; and his stepdaughter-in-law Heather Christensen. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and treasured friends.
