He was predeceased by: his parents, Ervin and Klea; his siblings, Gordon, Max, Philip, Lyle, Don and Nadine Bayles; and his granddaughter Tina Fessler.

He is survived by: his spouse Mabel June; and his children, Shirley (Bruce), Wayne (Renee), Sally (Ken), Tom (Karie) and Clayton (Kim).
