He is survived by: his son Kevin Nakai; his father Dan B. Nakai; his sister Denise Tohsonii; his niece Danielle; his nephews, Calvin, Wil, Harry and Benjamin; and his grandson Malachi. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
