She was predeceased by: her parents, John Helquist and Beatrice Helquist; her siblings, Maurice Helquist, Veloy Hawkins, Ora Bayles, Carl Perkins and Scott Hurst; and her son Chad H. Perkins.

She is survived by: her children, Sheila Mortensen (Kenny), Sandy Brown (Bob), Anne Howell (Jerry), Monty Perkins (Snookie) and Heidi Pilling (Don). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
