He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee A Bird and Elna Marene Crane Bird; his sister Charlene Julander; his grandchildren, Spencer Bird and Esther Bird; and his great grandchild Maddex Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Paxman; his close friend Maxine; his children, Gregory Bird (Wendy), Jennefer Zepeda (Jose), Andrew Bird (Becky), Paul Bird (Karen) and Bryan Bird (Charlie); and his sisters, Nancy Milne and Marene Westfall (Bill). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
