He was predeceased by: his parents, David Richards and Anna Richards; his wife LoDees Bowen Richards; and his siblings, Elmer Richards, Harold Richards, George Richards, Nellie Purcell and Betty Rawls.
He is survived by: his brothers, Robert Richards and Glenn Richards; and his children, Terri Howard (Gerald), David Richards (Robyn) and Daniel Richards (Hollie). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
