He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lucy Hannah Barney and Leland Hatch Parkin; his former wife Joanne Losee; his wife Fern Marvel; and his siblings, Robert Earl (Cheryl), Kay Jacobs (Dee), Leo Barney (Marilyn) and Clemence Reid (Teri). He was also cherished by his mother and the children.

Bill was living at the Heritage Care Center in American Fork when he contracted Covid.
