He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Funk and Erma Hatch Griffin; his siblings, John Edward and Mereda Luster; and his great grandchild Caden Dirks.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Gillies (Jerry); his sister Oris Boan of Pleasant Grove; and his children, Jerry Griffin (Veniece) of Missouri City, Jackie Dirks (Darwin) of St. George, Roylen Griffin (Karen) of Blanding, John Griffin (Jolene) of Mesa, Jim Griffin (Karen) of Maricopa, Shelly Bird (Thomas) of Price and Denise Winget of Novato. He is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
