He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Samuel and LaVon Holt Reid; his close friends, Patty Quinn Reid and Carolyn Rogers Reid; his son John Morgan Reid; his brother Stan; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Rogers. He was also cherished by his 10 children, 35 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
