She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Fred and Jennie May Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Tammy Sweat-Chipman; and her grandson Ty Sweat. She is survived by: her close friend Stephen "Mack" Chipman; her children, Alan Chipman, Brian Chipman (Sharon), Calvin Chipman (Tisha), Darin Chipman (Kristin), Elaine Watson (John), Francine Carter (Todd), Gaylyn Worthington and Heidi Mitchell (Casey); her siblings, David Schmidt (Donna), Maralyn Dotson (Richard), Richard Schmidt (Jo), Virginia Baird (Bob) and Howard Schmidt (Mary); and her sister-in-law Helen Chipman Hatch. She is also survived by 29 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
