He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Greenwood Beck and Calvert Beck; and his siblings, Lyman Beck and Arlene Wright. He is survived by: his children, Jeff (DeLayna), Shiree (Dean), Debbie (Dale), Steve (Shauna), Linn (Karen) and Susan (Justin); and his foster sons, Francis and Irvin. He is also survived by his family including 32 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
