It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Vern Frandsen of American Fork, Utah, who passed away on January 6, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Heber Frandsen and Erma Rowena Kofford; and his grandson Brett Skidmore. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Marsha Skidmore (Brent), George Frandsen (David), Bruce Frandsen (Nyla), Ted Frandsen (Kathy) and Dan Frandsen (Dana); his foster son Floyd Nelson (Kathryn); and his sister LaRue Pack (Carl). He is also survived by his 23 grandchildren, and 49 great- grandchildren.
