He was predeceased by: his parents, Gastin Garlick and Era M Farnworth Garlick; his wife Elaine Hicken; his daughter JaLayne Bangerter; and his siblings, Ben, Howard, Bruce, Deverl, O'leah and Helen.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Garlick (Dianne), Kami Larson (Alan), Marné Reneer (Bradley) and David Garlick (Annette); his son-in-law Paulo Bangerter; and his sister Bernice Miller. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 81 great grandchildren.
