He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Marion and Fern Shelley Allen; and his brothers, Lynn and Lee Allen. He is survived by: his wife Linda Nielsen; his children, Jason Allen (Carissa), Trudy Bezzant (David), Robyn Ferre (Craig) and Brian Allen (Michelle); and his siblings, Dale Allen (Renee) and Renae Reese (Robert). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
