He was predeceased by: his father Henry Steenhoek; his former wife Ada Carol Pearson Steenhoek; his daughter Lisa Carol Steenhoek; his siblings, Beverly Steenhoek, Willadean Steenhoek, Paul Steenhoek, Wendel Steenhoek, Robert Steenhoek and Bill Steenhoek; and his mother Vera Pauline Berkenbosch Steenhoek.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Dolinar Steenhoek; his great grandchild Henry; his children, Daniel Steenhoek (Pamela), Paul Steenhoek, Teresa Almond (Matthew), Debra Shaw (Marvin), Stephen Steenhoek (Shannon), Patricia Birchall (Nathan), David Steenhoek (Heidi), Shauna Erickson (Michael) and Cynthia Hermen (Mark); and his brothers, Ron Steenhoek and Dick Steenhoek. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren.
