He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Pat Schmidt; his children, Jerry Schmidt (Diana), Michelle Spencer (David), Jon Schmidt and Jared Snedecor; and his stepchildren, Jamie Schmidt, Eric Snedecor (Christi), Jannah Weiler (Troy), Melissa Snedecor-Deknibber (Dee) and Jacob Snedecor (Brittany). He was also cherished by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment in the American Fork Cemetery In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Duane Schmidt memorial fund at Central Bank.
