He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Raymond Melvin and Lena Belle Swanson; his siblings, Clinton Swanson (Patty), Lloyd Swanson (Nola), James Swanson (Frances), Barbara Swanson and Jeanne Swanson; his wife Peggy Jones Swanson; his daughters, Shelley Swanson Regan, Jennifer Lynn Powell (Nick) and Nichole Lee Swanson; his grandchildren, Madalyn Grace Ludwig, Nikki May Powell, Kadelyn Powell, Hunter D Powell (Destiny), Rylee Jade Currier, Kadi Madysin Powell, Samuel Ryle Regan, Keamyn J Hatch and Kage Justice Hatch; and his great grandchildren, Harbor Lane Sistrunk and Dixie Powell.
