He is survived by: his wife Susan Prestwich; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Bailey, Dominik, Jaxtin, Austin, Landon, Kate, Otto, Griffin, Gudrun, Hazel, Leo, Hailee and Brooklin; and his siblings, Kim Covington, Corinne Baxter, Ronnie (Kathy), Frank (Pamala), Roselie Duvall (Kevin), Kenny (Karrie), Scott and Doug.

“It is so hard when we lose someone. I lost my sister a couple of weeks ago and I know how hard this is. Merlin and I would like to extend our condolences on your loss. Dick worked with my husband for many years at General Refractories in Lehi. and I have known him since we were about 12 years old.He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. We want to let the family know how much we loved Dick and we hope he is jamming with his friends and family at a party in Heaven now ! Merlin and Vickie”
