He was predeceased by: his parents, Freeman Johnson and Venoy Johnson; his daughter Teresa Devey (Darren); and his great grandchildren, Raden Heiniger and Rock Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Frankie; his children, Jeff Johnson, Doug Johnson (Barbara) and Chris Johnson (Sandra); his son-in-law Darren Devey; and his brother Dick Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking to make a donation in Art's name to either the Primary Children's Hospital or the Shriners Hospital for Children.
