He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Ursonal Espiritu and Erene Lopez Palacio; his sister Elena Espiritu Trazo; his half-brother Ernesto Lopez Palacio Sr.; and his son-in-law Donald Comer.
He is survived by: his daughter Emmie; his wife Juliana Mancao Espiritu; and his children, Fernando (Floramie Lucero), Emelinda Espiritu Comer, Liza (Renie Tumon) and Renato (Marily Cabague).
