With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rakaipaka Puriri (Alpine, Utah), born in Hastings, North Island, who passed away on October 23, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ka Puriri Tipoki and Whitiora Tipoki; his child Hata Earl; and his siblings, Hine Hapi, Alice Theodore and Robert Tipoki.
He is survived by: his children, Rakaipaka Olsen (Lani), Moana Annalene (James), Colin Miles (Coi), Michael Wayne (Kristina) and Telisa Dora (JR); his wife Margie; his daughter Teresa Puriri; and his siblings, Hata Tipoki (NZ), Doreen Tipoki (NZ) and Rawinia Henderson (Australia). He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
