It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Race Dion Davies of Alpine, Utah, who passed away on March 17, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Race Dion Davies to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Hodgson Davies (Race) and Alta Johnson Davies; his brother RJ; his sister-in-law Jeanette; and his granddaughter Brittney Dion Paruszewski.
He is survived by: his friend Jack McMillan; his wife Rosalyn Nuttall (Rosie); his child Russell; and also Suz Davies.
While teaching, Race took an exam for entrance into graduate school and received a Ford Foundation Scholarship based on his scores to do postgraduate studies and obtain a Doctorate degree in Political Science.
