She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilford Oscar and Helen Mary Leu Peterson; her son Steven Frank; and her sisters, Adrienne Gifford, Angela Waite and Avon Anderson.

She is survived by: her sister Joy Christensen; and her children, Debra, Brad (Ida), Dave (Shannon), Chris (Dedra) and Franklin (Angie). She is also survived by her 33 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
