With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Danny Lommel in Alpine, Utah, born in Calistoga, California, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 30, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arle D. Lommel and Juanita Gish; and his siblings, Juanita Vincent and Darl Lommel (Diane Winters Lommel). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Taylor Lommel; his sister Arlene Stark Neilson; and his children, Arle Lommel (Brenda), Anna Armendariz (Steven), Alexander Lommel (Bonnie), David Lommel (Jessie), Bronwyn Mendelsohn (Joshua), Brad Taylor (Kayleen), Claudia Shaffer (Ron), Colleen Marlow (Johnny), Roseanne Roberts (Tom), Kathleen Schlesinger (Phil), Jay Taylor (Celest), Charline Grigg (Aaron), Susan Mathieson (Rob), Janis Aden (Justin) and Michael Taylor (Jenny). He is also survived by her 11 children and their spouses, 47 grandchildren, and 44 great-grandchildren, 10 step-children.
Danny Darwin Lommel, born April 1, 1938, in Calistoga, California left this world peacefully on July 30, 2024, in Alpine, Utah at the age of 86 after a brief illness and many years of living with Parkinson's Disease.
