He was predeceased by: his parents, Mearion Herbert Houston Sr. and Alice Buelah Jones Houston; his wife Kathleen Jane Bynum; and his son Chip Houston. He is survived by: his son David Houston (Debbie); his grandson John Houston (Melissa); his great grandchild AnnaLee Houston; and his grandson Jason Houston. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; nieces, nephews; and other extended family.
