He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wallace Perkins and Louise Gable Perkins; his former wife Linda "Butch" Moon; his wife Linda Perkins (Butch); his children, Scott Perkins, Liz Lewis of Midland, Chad Perkins (DeAnn) of Zephyr and Amy Perkins Montague (Frank) of Mason; his grandchildren, Chad Butler (Krystal) of Zephyr, Codi Perkins (Daniel Purcell) of May, Cade Perkins of Zephyr, Calli Montague, Chase Montague and Casey Montague of Mason; his great grandchildren, Slade, Sawyer and Millie Butler of Zephyr; and his brother Darrell Perkins (Reva) of Zephyr. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family requests that memorials be made to Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth, 1001 8th Avenue, Fort Worth, Texas, 76104 or to the West Texas Rehabilitation Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, Texas, 79605.
