He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Edward and Agnes Slocum (Johnson); his sister Wilma Nancy Rutherford; and his son-in-law Kevin Svoboda. He is survived by: his wife Debra Ann Slocum; his son Marc Slocum; his daughter-in-law Debbie Slocum; his children, Rebecca Svoboda, Sara Slocum and Kyle Slocum; his grandchildren, Leah Svoboda, Larissa Svoboda, Colton Svoboda, Joseph Guerra, Ryan Guerra, Haley Guerra, Kristin Slocum, Matthew Slocum, Cody Slocum and Wesley Slocum; and his great grandchildren, Aleya and Madden Gonzales.
