It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doyce Nelson of Zephyr, Texas, born in Comanche, Texas, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, A. J. Nelson and Patricia Nelson; and his siblings, Sherman Nelson and Carolyn Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Lillie Nelson; his daughters, Terri Claycamp (Al) of Wichita Falls, Rebecca Race of Abilene and Cynthia Nelson of Zephyr; his grandchildren, Ruth Jinks (Jason), Ashli Claycamp, Justin Begnoche (Katie), Trevor Begnoche, Bryce Race, Kasandra Race, Cord Biddy (Nickie) and Chandler Nelson; and his great grandchildren, J. J. Jinks, J. D. Claycamp, Gideon Claycamp, Weston Begnoche, Cora Biddy and Kyleigh Rainwater. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
