He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Eggleston Sherrod and Jessie Era Sherrod (Carr); and his spouse Farina Wyvone Bryce. He is survived by: his children, Billy Sherrod (Teresa) of Blanket, Joey Sherrod (Shawna) of Zephyr and Josie Kappel (C. J.) of Zephyr; and his siblings, Jack Sherrod (Anna) of Amarillo and Linda Gatlin (Jimmy) of Ennis. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
