He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Henderson (Chandler) and Lauren Melvin Henderson; his former wife Betty Jean Henderson; and his nephews, Eric Jason Henderson and Lauren David Henderson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Sparks Henderson (Sawyer) of Zavalla; his children, John Alan (Deborah Henderson), James Gregory (Julie Henderson), Rusty (Bethany Sparks), Gary (Rachel Sparks) and Donna Leann; his son-in-law Scott Sheppard of Huntsville; his grandchildren, Ryan Henderson, Jeffrey Henderson, Aaron Henderson, Heather (Terrell Zeno), Bobby Guthrie, Gayle Guthrie, Kaitlynn (Johnathan), Hunter (McKenzie Medlin), Spencer Sheppard, Tyler Sheppard, Walker Sheppard, Dalton Sparks, Tyce Sparks and Case Sparks; his great grandchildren, Riley Henderson, Liam Henderson, Rylee Zeno, Zoey Zeno and Jensen Medlin; his siblings, Richard Lee Henderson of Baytown and Virgie Dee "Babe" Henderson of Baytown; and his nephew Chet Bradley Henderson of Baytown.
