He is survived by: his siblings, Garland Massey, Mike Massey, Elizabeth Rose Myers, Orelle Sherman, Betty Mingee, Opal Totten, Johnnie and Dot Cryer; his sons, John Elton and Boy (Veronica Ann); his grandchildren, Alisha Nicole Massey of Lufkin, Kaylyn Elisabeth Massey of Kennesaw, Georgia and William Reagon Massey (Willy) of Lufkin, Texas; his brother-in-law Kenny Myers; and his close friends, Charles Ray Craven, Burlon Jones, Doug Day, Delton Smith, Cliff Layton, Doug Moses and Tony Coleman. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
