She was predeceased by: her parents, Georgia Gray (Cryer) and James Monroe Lowery; her husband Robert Grant Mitchell; and her brothers, Kenneth Lowery, Ralph Lowery of Glenn Lowery, W. M and Roy Lowery.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia (Robert Dhone) and Melissa (Jim Stacy); her grandchildren, Ashley Forsythe (Levi), Amanda Dhone, Jacob Stacy and Clayton Stacy; her great grandchildren, Caden Cavazos, Hadley Hooks, Kevin Hooks, Brynlee Forsythe and Lane Forsythe; and her sisters, Dorothy Dorsett and Jeanette Hunt. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
