We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Betty Jean Harris of Zavalla, Texas, born in Gadsden, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Evie Hammonds and A. F. Morgan; her husband Billy Harris; her sons, Stephen Harris and Jimmy Harris; her close friend Jim Smith; and her siblings, Victoria Reagan, Barbara Morris, Nira Strain, Joyce Kelly and Lamar Morgan.

She is survived by: her sons, Chick Harris (Janis) of Huntington and Craig Harris of Zavalla; and her brother Ray Morgan of Port Arthur. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren;11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
