We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2023, at the age of 38, Ashly Nelson of Zavalla, Texas, born in Nacogdoches, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Jason Dallas Wimberley; the father of her children Keith Allen Nelson; and her grandparents, Kenneth Massey, Jay Wimberley, Elouise Wimberley, Raymond Russell and Ruth Carrico.
She is survived by: her children, Kelsey Rutland of Baytown, Haily Nelson of Zavalla, Ryder Nelson of Zavalla and Trevin Nelson of Zavalla; her granddaughter Hadley Rutland of Baytown; her parents, Tammy Laroux (Russell) and Charles Laroux of Zavalla; her stepmother Liz Wimberley of Broaddus; and her siblings, Cissy Marie Wimberley of Broaddus and Wyatt Wimberley of Broaddus. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
