It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Tom Bendele of Zapata, Texas, born in Hondo, Texas, who passed away on July 21, 2022, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Leo J. Bendele. He is survived by: his mother Elizabeth Hutzler Bendele of Devine; his children, Brad Bendele (Kristen) of Castroville and Nicole Obiedo (Chris) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Alissa Obiedo, Brayden Obiedo, Hailey Bendele, Kinsey Bendele and Connor Bendele; and his siblings, JoAnn Viney (Shelton) of Midland, James Bendele (Linda) of Zapata and Barbara FitzSimon (Mark) of Castroville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
