He was predeceased by: his wife Irma S. Montoya; his parents, Rufino Montoya and Adelfa R. Montoya; and his brother Bernabe Montoya. He is survived by: his daughter Irma Yvonne Soliz (Dagoberto); his grandson Dagoberto Soliz Jr.; and his siblings, Victor Montoya (Yolanda), David Montoya (Laura), Silvestre Montoya (Josie), Raul Montoya (Irma), Hilda Montoya and Belinda Ramos (Saul). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.
