It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Menita Flores of Zapata, Texas, who passed away on February 25, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Angel Flores; her children, Sandra Flores and Angel Flores, Jr.; her parents, Leonardo Flores and Eugenia Flores; and her siblings, Iris Astrid Flores, Juventino Flores and Leonardo G. Flores.
She is survived by: her son David Flores (Irma); her grandchildren, Michael Flores, Carlos A. Flores (Misha), Linda Flores (Josh Allen) and Judy Davis (Pavan Kadandale); her great grandchildren, Levon Allen Flores and William Carlos Allen Flores; and her sister-in-law Lucila Flores.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076). A rosary will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A procession will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (1609 Glenn St, Zapata, TX 78076).
