He is survived by: his wife Leonor G. Benavides; his sisters, Irma B. Lopez and Sylvia B. Quiroga; his niece Iliana Lopez; his nephew Rafael Lopez; and his sister-in-law Rosalva Chavez (Mario). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.
