He was predeceased by: his wife Azucena M. Garza; his daughter Claudia Garza; his parents, Estevan R. Garza and Margarita Cavazos; and his siblings, Efrain Cavazos, Maria Elda Villarreal, Felipa Garza and Zulema Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his children, Ruben Garza (Yolanda), Orlando Garza, Esteban S. Garza, Raul Gerardo Saenz, Jesus Daniel Saenz, Olga Ramon (Juan), Irasema M. Saenz and Sara Lee Saenz; and his siblings, Sergio Cavazos (Maria), Martin Cavazos (Yolanda), Irasema Gutierrez (Carlos), Maribel Cortez (David), Ramona Garza and Sylvia Garza. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, family members and friends.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM and at 10:00 AM at the Rose Garden Funeral Home (2102 US-83, Zapata, TX 78076).
